The latest analysis from the Land Registry has revealed some interesting facts about property sales in Cornwall. The figures are based on postcodes where there were at least five sales in 2017/2018. They relate to properties of all sizes so can only provide a general indication, but some of the detail is interesting.
There were 43 sales in postcodes beginning PL30 5 in 2018 with an average price of £310,000. This postcode covers Lanivet and Luxulyan. The next biggest rise was in postcode starting TR27 6 which includes St Erth and Leedstown where prices were up 26% annually from £210,000 average in 2017 to £265,000 in 2018. Perranporth and surrounding villages in the postcode TR6 0 saw prices rise by 19% to £330,000.
The most expensive postcode however is PL29 3 which covers Port Isaac where an average price of £383,750 was recorded last year, up 10% compared to 2017.
