Every business needs to be outward looking. Whether you are a high street shop or selling entirely online, you need to be visible to clients and customers. There are many business groups around with which you can become involved in order to meet other people and exchange views. I am trying to avoid using the horrible term “networking”!
Here at Sproull Solicitors LLP, we take part in regular Business Breakfasts held in both Bodmin and Wadebridge. The Wadebridge meetings are held in our office at 42 Molesworth Street and the Bodmin meetings are held at The Folly Tearooms on Turf Street. The meetings start at 8.00am and are usually over at 9.00am in time for everybody to go to work. The cost, if any, is minimal.
The events include interesting talks – at the Bodmin Business Breakfast on 7th March we will hear from a Business Rates Specialist. In view of the current increase in rates to be paid by many businesses, this may well be a useful topic.
Getting together at these breakfast meetings provides a chance to exchange views, catch up on the gossip and maybe even gain a client/customer or two. If you would be interested in attending either event, please contact Jenny Brown on 01208 72328 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
