According to the latest figures released by the Land Registry, there is one road in Cornwall where the average house price is more than £1.7million. More than 60 properties sold for six figure sums in 2018.
The most expensive street in Cornwall, according to 2018 figures, is Peden Moran in St Mawes where the average price is £1,725,000. The second most expensive street is Treverbyn Road in Padstow where the average price is £892,500.
Lower Lux Street in Liskeard brings up the rear as the least expensive road in the County with an average price of £59,725.
Looking across the rest of the country, the most expensive street in England and Wales in 2018 was Grosvenor Court in Belgravia where the average price is £33.1million. There are 1,246 streets in England and Wales where the average price was £1million or more, slightly down on 2017 and 2016.
For the statisticians amongst you, “averages” for each road are based on the median of all sale prices in 2018 and streets with fewer than three sales are excluded.
